Flevoplant, based in Ens (NL), has been a leading company in the strawberry world since 1958. The company is specialized in propagating and growing strawberry plants. Flevoplant is an expert in early strawberry varieties, innovative in the mid-sized varieties and specialist in the late segment varieties.

In 2018, during a strategic re-orientation, Flevoplant decided to invest in more cuttings and trays. That's why a new 2.8-hectare greenhouse is built. But producing more is also accompanied by more labor. To handle this labor in a smart way, nineteen multifunctional and automatic crop trolleys where installed. The crop trolleys automatically deploy the plants and also remove them from the greenhouse. That saves a lot of expensive manual labor.
